Western Union offers additional voluntary insurance options through Cigna – critical illness, accident, and hospital indemnity insurance to supplement your medical coverage. They help protect you from significant expenses not covered by your medical plan.

Accident insurance
Accident insurance helps ease your financial burden with cash benefits for covered accidents:
- Cigna pays benefits directly to you if you have an accident while covered under this plan.
- You choose between two coverage options when you enroll: Low or High.
- The amount of money you receive is based on your coverage option, treatments, and injuries – regardless of any other insurance, you may have.
- There are no limits to how you use the money.
- For specific plan information, see the Documents.
- You must enroll if you want coverage. You pay the full cost.
- Depending on which coverage amount you choose (Low or High), you receive the following benefits for expenses related to a covered accident.
